Experience and approach:

I have been a qualified counsellor since 2013. I also worked for 23 years as a support worker, and have a breadth of knowledge about many health and social challenges as a result.

These can include ways of exploring past and present difficulties, often exploring thoughts, feelings, a compassion-based approach, relationships with others and different parts of self. I welcome your input and feedback as to what feels helpful for you at this point.  

I am trained in the Sesame model, which uses creative forms of self-expression to explore the inner self, connection and meaning. I am happy to bring in some creative methods into the session if that may be of interest to you.
