About the Therapist
As a LGBTQ+ person, I am passionate about offering therapy and supportive services to other individuals also part of the LGBTQ+ community. I feel there are a lot of difficulties we may all face, and this can be hard when you don't have someone to turn to. This especially can be said of those who feel othered or ignored within society. I am here to offer you a space to be your authentic self, and to feel held and heard by someone with compassion.Â
I am a Neurodivergent affirming, Intersectional and GSRD affirming counsellor.
I adhere to the BACP code of ethics and ethical guidelines within my work and hold professional indemnity insurance.Â

As an Integrative counsellor, I use a variety of different theories and approaches to counselling with my clients. I will be by your side whilst you explore your issues, helping you examine your thoughts, through gently challenging and supporting you.Â
I am here to offer you empathy, acceptance and care as you explore yourself and the world around you. I am interested in you as an individual, how you think and feel, and I am here to try to understand the world through your eyes. My approach to you is also relational, by having a conversation of what you're feeling being here in this space, with me as well as the other feelings that are co-existing within the therapeutic relationship. Â
As a counsellor, I am not here to advise you on what to do, or how to be, but to simply accept you as you are.Â
I work with many different clients, from a variety of backgrounds, sexualities, and gender identities. I also have my own lived experience of being non-binary, trans and having a sexuality outside of the typical "norm" of society. I have had training around kink/BDSM and non-monogamy and welcome individual clients who wish to bring this to sessions - I am aware and affirming within the stance of safe and consensual.Â
I offer both short-term (12 sessions minimum) and long-term weekly therapy which will be discussed at consultation to determine what you feel you need.Â
