About the Therapist
Do you feel like no one understands what you're dealing with in your day to day life?
As an LGBTQ+ person myself, I am passionate about supporting anyone who identifies as (or might be questioning if they are) LGBTQ+. I am here to offer you warmth, acceptance and understanding, with a safe place you can express yourself free from judgment.
You might be coming to counselling because you struggle to prioritise your own needs and wants, or feel unable to communicate them to other people. I can help you find your voice, to express yourself in your way to others so that you aren't leaving yourself behind.
By helping you develop more self-acceptance, you will learn to put yourself first when needed, which can help with your mood, anxiety and other issues you may have.

As an Integrative counsellor, I use a variety of different theories and approaches to counselling. I will be by your side whilst you explore your issues, helping you to examine your thoughts, through gently challenging and supporting you. I take a relational approach in my sessions, so we might have a conversation about what you're feeling being in the space with me, as well as other feelings you are experiencing. As a counsellor, I am not here to advise you on what to do, or how to be, but to simply accept you as you are.
I am here to offer you empathy, acceptance and care as you explore yourself and the world around you. I am interested in you as an individual, how you think and feel, and I am here to try to understand the world through your eyes.
As a counsellor, I am not here to advise you on what to do, or how to be, but to simply accept you as you are.
I work with many different clients, from a variety of backgrounds, sexualities, and gender identities. I have had training around kink/BDSM and non-monogamy and welcome individual clients who wish to bring this to sessions - I am kink aware and affirming within the stance of safe and consensual.
Alongside my work within the LGBTQ+ community, I have worked with a variety of issues, including low mood, anxiety, grief/bereavement, low self-confidence and low self-esteem. I also have experience in working with neurodiverse clients (e.g. ADHD/Autism) and can help with issues that may come along with these labels.
I offer both short-term (12 sessions minimum) and long-term weekly/fortnightly therapy which will be discussed at consultation to determine what you feel you need.
