About the Therapist
With a background in an NHS psychological services team, based within a world leading sexual health centre, I aim to create a non-judgemental space where we can examine parts of yourself, your history, wants, needs and identities not always so easily spoken about.
I am experienced in both working in a hyper-focused, short term, time limited approach where we work together to find a solution to a particular issue which may be presenting (for example, compulsive sexual behaviours, sexual difficulties like unreliable erections, fighting feelings of shame & judgement, or the stresses of modern life), or, through a more expansive, open-ended exploration of what sometimes may present as distress, or sometimes, a lingering feeling that "something's just off". Drawing from my training & personal interest in existential psychotherapy and philosophy, sometimes our work could be to help explore the big questions of life - what is your purpose? What gives your life meaning? What makes it all worth it? The big and bold questions which can be scary to ask alone, but exciting to tackle to together that can bring fulfilment and peace into life.
In couples therapy, I bring all of the same questions as in one to one therapy, but with an additional focus on helping all parties how our own pasts and presents may impact on our partners, and how the differing histories may impact and interact with one another. I believe that couples therapy is a way of honouring your relationship, and as such, I consider "the relationship" to be my client (not either of the partners present).

I bring an existential & systemic approach (meaning, I consider the societal, familial, political and cultural pressures at play) to explore themes of sexuality & gender, sex and relationships, compulsive sexual behaviours, anxiety, body image, as well as the big existential questions of who we are, what life we want to live and what our purpose is.
My clinical sexology experience sees me working with;
- Difficulties with relationships: starting, sustaining or ending a relationship
- Penis-related sexual problems (erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, delayed ejaculation)
- Vulval sexual problems (vaginismus, dyspareunia)
- Anus centred problems (anodyspareunia - pain upon anal penetration, shame)
