About the Therapist
I am a psychotherapist working in private practice and the third sector. My approach is well-suited to individuals seeking support during difficult times, as well as those wishing to reflect more deeply on their lives to effect desired change.
The modality of therapy that I offer is psychoanalytic. In practice, this means closely listening to individuals rather than offering standardised advice or directives. I invite you to speak openly about your formative life experiences, desires, and difficulties in a safe, non-judgemental setting. Whereas some treatments aim to eliminate symptoms as swiftly as possible, psychoanalytic therapy treats them as unique sources of knowledge and seeks to create space for deeper reflection on the roots of your unhappiness. Through this engagement, psychoanalysis aims to help you craft your own unique and creative solutions that make life more liveable and enjoyable. Therapy should not be a form of adaptation or 'normalisation.' My approach foregrounds the uniqueness of one’s experience while also acknowledging its socio-political context.
I work from my consulting room in Marylebone (Central London), as well as online.
I offer a free initial session to anyone interested in therapy or analysis with me, so we can begin to explore whether working together seems like a good fit.

I am a UKCP-registered psychoanalytic psychotherapist-in-training. I am pursuing my psychoanalytic formation at The Site for Contemporary Psychoanalysis. Prior to my clinical training, I studied psychoanalysis for years at various psychoanalytic institutes, including the Centre for Freudian Analysis and Research and the Institute of Psychoanalysis.
I hold two postgraduate degrees in the social sciences (one of which is in gender studies) and have written and published on psychoanalysis, feminist and queer philosophy and politics, and feminist art practices.
My areas of research and clinical work centre on the ideas of Freud and Lacan. In practice, this means attending closely to a person’s speech and the uniqueness of their experience, while also acknowledging the impact of the broader socio-cultural context on their psychic life. The aim is to support individuals in crafting their own singular solutions oriented toward more liberated forms of living.
Outside my private practice, I have supported individuals with suicidal thoughts through third sector organisations that provide space for people in crisis to be heard.
