About the Therapist
Hi, I’m Craig. I’m an integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, and Yoga Teacher, based in Manchester. I care about helping people navigate those sticky and uncomfortable moments in life. For most of my adult life, I’ve felt a pull towards the helping professions. This pull led me to the realms of counselling, psychotherapy and yoga. I’ve found the tools and skills from these realms transformative in my own development and growth, and in others.
My entry into the therapeutic world began with the completion of my BSc in Psychology in 2011. Building upon this, I began to hone and develop my therapeutic skills by completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. In between these, I completed a yoga teacher training in 2017 and was delightfully surprised at how similar the worlds of counselling and psychology were with Buddhism and yoga.
As part of my ongoing commitment to further therapeutic growth and development, I regularly engage with courses and workshops to ensure I can better help you. Some of these have involved further studies into the therapeutic use of yoga, psycho-spiritual, trauma-informed therapy and Buddhism. At the moment, I’m completing Pink Therapy's Diploma in Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity (GSRD). This life-long learning is part of what I love about therapy and is what I hope to bring to our relationship to help you.
I’m part of the Queer community, identifying as a white, gay, cis man using he/him pronouns. I do my best to be as inclusive as possible to gender, sexuality, relationships, religious and spiritual beliefs. I do my best to help create a space that is free from shame and judgements, allowing you to gently exist and be, whatever your identity.

Counselling and Psychotherapy for me is a powerful way to heal through talking and being in relation to another. I take an integrative approach, bringing concepts, skills and techniques from the psychotherapeutic, yogic and spiritual spheres. I love to weave together the worlds of counselling, yoga and spirituality. For me, this speaks to a holistic approach that is inclusive of mind, body and spirit.
When working together we’ll build a therapeutic relationship which will serve you in the best possible way. I believe we all have the knowledge and wisdom to bring healing into our lives. I will be alongside you on your journey of self-discovery and healing. I will do my best to encourage you to flourish and grow by creating an environment where you can gently, safely and kindly exist. Through our relationship, we’ll both softly and slowly begin to explore the lighter and darker parts of self.
I’m a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their code of ethics. I’m part of a network of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
