I am a warm and empathetic therapist, very open-minded and non-judgmental.  I like to work together with clients to see if we can jointly work out the causes of the problems, and how they can be helped.

I do general therapy, and also psychosexual work.  Psychosexual work involves helping with particular sexual issues, on a talking therapy basis (no touch ever involved), which can include things like erectile problems, premature or delayed ejaculation, pain on penetration, chemsex and other compulsive or distressing feelings or behaviours.  For psychosexual work, I am currently working towards a specialist diploma with Tavistock Relationships and registration with COSRT.

Experience and approach:

My general approach is psychodynamic, which involves working with the unconscious factors that may be influencing our behaviour.  I will also bring in aspects of some other approaches as appropriate.  I have worked in primary care in the NHS and now work in private practice and also once a week in an NHS psychosexual service.
