About the therapist:

I am a fully qualified BACP registered therapist trained at The Minster Centre in London. The Minster Centre was the United Kingdom’s first integrative counselling and psychotherapy training programme and it remains one of the country’s most respected institutions. I work with private clients and also in the voluntary sector, often with a focus on the queer community.

I have worked with many of the experiences and challenges that being queer can bring, and I warmly welcome all members of our colourful and diverse community. At the same time I know that therapy is not only about identity. You may simply feel more at ease with a therapist who shares aspects of your background or lived experience, and it is completely natural to want that sense of familiarity and safety.

My background in business, charity, and care, combined with the challenges I have navigated, helps me understand the pressures and transitions that life can bring. My work draws on both lived experience and theory to support you in ways that feel grounded, practical, and meaningful for your goals. Life is colourful and complex. Together we can focus on what matters to you with openness, honesty, and without judgement.

My approach is integrative, person centred, and grounded in the belief that therapy works best when it feels real and collaborative. I aim to offer a warm, open space where you can slow down, explore what is happening for you, and connect more deeply with yourself. The relationship between us is at the heart of this process, a place where you can be met with empathy, curiosity, and acceptance.

Therapy with me is steady and reflective. Together we pay attention to patterns in your life, how you relate to yourself and others, and the feelings that arise in the moment. Some people prefer a gentler pace, others want more focus or clarity, and we will shape the work jointly in a way that feels supportive and right for you.

My fees range from £55 to £80 for a fifty minute session depending on whether we meet online or in person and the time of day. I also offer a small number of reduced fee spaces for people on lower incomes, so please feel free to ask if this may apply to you.

I can see people online wherever you are, and I offer in person sessions in Bushey WD23. Some people find a blended mix of online and in person sessions helpful, and this is available if it supports your needs. Do get in touch if you would like to explore what might work for you.
