Broes Van Renterghem - London Bridge

My name is Broes (pronounced Bruce) Van Renterghem and I offer psychotherapy and counselling in my practices in Shoreditch and London Bridge, and online. Some of the key areas I can help with are anxiety, depression, gender identification, sexual orientation-related issues, addiction, shame, relationships, self-esteem, and more.  I have a special interest in working with LGBTQ+ members and the unique challenges and strengths that can come with these experiences. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I bring both professional expertise and lived understanding to the work. Over the years I have accumulated a rich variety of experience in Education, Learning & Development and working for Multinational Corporations in both Belgium and the UK. Besides my Private Practice, my therapeutic experience includes working as a placement psychotherapist at Choose Therapy, The Body and Mind Centre and The Balham Community Counselling Centre. I hold a diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy from the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute, a renowned learning body for Integrative Psychotherapy, affiliated with Staffordshire University. I am a UKCP member. Choosing to begin psychotherapy is an act of courage, and working with me means you won’t have to face that journey alone. I offer a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore what brings you to therapy now and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others. My integrative approach draws on a range of therapeutic perspectives to help you uncover your unique needs and create lasting change. Together, we can uncover patterns that no longer serve you, heal old wounds, and help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and connection.What sets me apart as a psychotherapist is the way I combine relational depth with a practical, down-to-earth approach. I don’t just focus on symptoms, but help you uncover the patterns and experiences shaping your life, so that change becomes possible. My professional expertise and lived experience, fosters a therapeutic space where we can meet on a deeply personal level. Whether online or in person, my aim is to help you feel truly seen, understood, and empowered to move forward.I work with adults over the age of 18, face-to-face from my practices in Shoreditch and London Bridge, and online. ​I offer weekly sessions, of 55 minutes, costing £70 each, during daytime and evenings. ​I also offer sessions in Dutch (Flemish). ​​​​Please contact me to arrange a free introductory video call.
