Welcome, I’m Tom. I’m a therapist who works with adults looking to make meaningful changes in their lives. Many of the people I work with are dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, identity questions, low self-esteem, existential concerns, or are in the midst of major life changes. Others come to therapy to explore themselves more deeply, to challenge and change unhelpful behaviours, or to navigate parenting struggles. I have particular experience supporting queer communities and neurodivergent individuals, and I tailor our work to meet your unique needs, wants and goals. I’m Max (he/him), a queer counsellor working with LGBTQ+ adults who feel disconnected – from community, from relationships, from themselves. I work online and in-person in King’s Cross and Croydon. I particularly understand the “am I queer enough?” question, the exhaustion of masking, and the isolation that comes from navigating spaces that weren’t built for you. I also work with creative professionals dealing with the pressures, precarity, and loneliness of arts work – something I know firsthand from my years in that world before becoming a counsellor.
