Allow me to introduce myself: I am an adoptive father, a son, a husband, a brother, a good friend, a counsellor and psychotherapist. People experience difficulties in all sorts of areas in their lives. These might be personal relationships, situations at work, problems at home, anxiety, low mood, ADHD, ASD, feeling stuck… You name it – I am sure you have yours! If these difficulties are getting on top of you or making you unhappy, it may be helpful to see a therapist. We see a therapist not because we are ‘crazy’, or because there is something wrong with us.
I’m a Psychologist providing therapy and coaching sessions that are tailored according to your individual needs. I specialise in ADHD and autism, particularly supporting clients who had a late diagnosis in their 20s, 30s or 40s, and clients who don’t have a diagnosis but they are thinking about signs of neurodivergence in their family. I provide therapy and coaching sessions using CBT, ACT, mindfulness, person-centred counselling and Compassion Focused Therapy. I see clients with a variety of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, panic, stress, low self-esteem, anger, OCD, trauma, PTSD, workplace conflict, addictions, chronic fatigue, chronic pain and medically unexplained symptoms.
**I am accepting new clients** I am a transpersonal therapist (MA, MBACP)Â focusing on issues around self-worth, anxiety, and relational traumas, specialising in topics around love, relationships and intimacy. I work within a holistic and trauma-informed context, which includes body awareness and integrates transformational tools from modern trauma, attachment and nervous system research.
