These are psychotherapists and counsellors. Although there is a separate category for sex- and sexuality-related practitioners, most therapists in this category will certainly discuss sexual issues, and many will work with them.
I’m a queer therapist working with LGBTQ+ people and creatives, and often people who are both. I came to therapy partly through my own experience of navigating identity, and I bring that alongside 20 years as a working musician and artist. When you talk about your queer life or your creative work, I’m not translating. I’m with you. Sessions are calm, insightful and honest. I’ll listen carefully and push back when it seems useful, gently, but genuinely. I work in person at London Bridge and Golders Green, and online.
