Hi, I’m Angela. I am a queer/lesbian Integrative Therapist who is passionate about working with my community, with LGBTQAI+ clients. I offer a safe, supportive space where you can talk freely and confidentially about your life without judgement. My own experience of therapy was transformative. And I believe it is a gift we can give ourselves to become the person we want to be, to make better choices, and re/connect us with hope, humour, possibilities and passion.

I don’t currently have availability for new clients. I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist and my approach to therapy has been informed by both person-centred and psychodynamic approaches, alongside attention to what our bodies might hold and can tell us. This means that as well as recognising you as the expert on your own experiences, we may look back at some of your early and family history and how those relationships may be influencing what is happening for you in the present. 

I am queer, non-binary, trans integrative psychotherapist with over ten years experience working in private practice. I work with individual adults and couples. I graduated with a Diploma in Counselling from the Minster Centre in 2016 and subsequently gained an MA in Psychotherapy from the Minster Centre in 2019. I have specialist training in couples work from the tavistock clinic and groupwork from the institute of group analysis. I specialise in working with the LGBTQ+ community and developmental trauma. ‍I have experience working in the NHS with people with severe psychiatric presentations, and with running therapeutic groups. I am an Integrative therapist this allows me to provide a reflexive therapy space that is tailored to each individuals needs. I work relationaly and with a person centered, trauma informed approach. I support a broad range of people and specialise in supporting people in the LGBTQ+ community. I am experienced in supporting Trans and non-binary clients. I offer in person therapy for individuals in Hackney Central and Holborn, as also offer online therapy.

I am a counsellor working from rooms in Dalston, Hackney and in Holborn. I also provide counselling online.The largest part of my work is with Queer / LGBTQ+ clients, and I have previously worked with two LGBTQ+ organisations (Switchboard and East London Out Project). I have had additional specialist training from Gendered Intelligence and Pink Therapy. My core training is in humanistic counselling so I am trained in a range of approaches, but primarily practice using gestalt therapy. I am committed to a trans-affirming, queer-affirming, anti-racist approach.
