Hi, I’m Angela. I am a queer/lesbian Integrative Therapist who is passionate about working with my community, with LGBTQAI+ clients. I offer a safe, supportive space where you can talk freely and confidentially about your life without judgement. My own experience of therapy was transformative. And I believe it is a gift we can give ourselves to become the person we want to be, to make better choices, and re/connect us with hope, humour, possibilities and passion.

I enjoy supporting people to find ways of making sense of themselves and their lives that lead to greater wellbeing. I strive to create conversations and spaces that actively address oppression, celebrate diversity and consider the challenges resulting from societal expectations of what makes a good life.

I offer a warm, non-judgmental space for us to explore your problems. I have experience helping people struggling with anxiety, depression & relationship problems. I have particular experience supporting the LGBT+ community and men seeking therapy.

I am an Integrative therapist this allows me to provide a reflexive therapy space that is tailored to each individuals needs. I work relationaly and with a person centered, trauma informed approach. I support a broad range of people and specialise in supporting people in the LGBTQ+ community. I am experienced in supporting Trans and non-binary clients. I offer in person therapy for individuals in Hackney Central and Holborn, as also offer online therapy.  

My name is Matthew, I am a qualified integrative therapist working in-person in London, and online across the UK. My professional journey began in 2009 through completion of a certificate course in counselling skills and I have since graduated from a BSc (Hons) in Counselling, a degree accredited by the BACP where I am also a registered member.  My dissertation project was about the psychotherapeutic experiences of men engaged in chemsex, an area of particular interest to me.  I also have interest in the relationship between sexuality and religion, an area I hold developmental training for.

April 2024 – I have some limited availability for clients who can attend a daytime appointment in Hackney.  I am a Clinical Psychologist specialising in working with LGBTQ+ clients and people with long-term health conditions and disabilities. I am based in east London and work within the NHS and have a part-time private practice where I offer consultation and evidence-based therapy online. I have worked in the field of mental and physical health since 2008. Accessibility, flexibility and social consciousness are important parts of my practice.
