Hi! Welcome. Step into my bio. My practice creates a safe place for clients to reflect, process and celebrate all aspects of themselves. As I’m integratively trained, I create bespoke therapeutic approaches for each individual client, with their collaboration. This world is often overwhelming, and I support clients in developing a space to slow down and breathe. As for me, I’m originally Australian but have been in London for 21 years now so my accent is quite odd, I’m kind, generous, really quite funny and I swear more than I probably should.

My name is Gustavo and I am an integrative Psychotherapist in London working short and long term with individuals and couples in person and online. As a multi ethnic foreign living in the UK for several years I have personally experienced feelings of otherness, prejudice and the desire to belong. These experiences have enabled me to deepen my therapeutic skills working with clients from different countries, gender, cultures, different socio economic backgrounds, ethnic and religious groups.

I’m a BACP Accredited integrative psychotherapist and Registered Relationship Therapist working with individuals and couples across London. I specialise in relationships that don’t fit conventional moulds; LGBTQ+ partnerships, ethically non-monogamous and polyamorous relationships, and people navigating sexual identity, desire and intimacy. My practice is sex-positive and kink-aware. I understand minority stress, the weight of living outside the mainstream, and what it means to want a therapist who genuinely gets it rather than one who merely tolerates it. My personal approach is integrative, which means that I draw from a number of counselling models and techniques, including psychodynamic, existential and humanistic. My therapeutic stance is adaptable to your individual needs and I offer both short and longer term work. I am an experienced and qualified BACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist. I am working in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework. I have a Psychology (BA) degree and have undertaken comprehensive training and gained my diploma (PgDip) and Masters (MA) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Regent’s University London.

Hello, I’m Alex. I offer a thoughtful, steady, and empathetic space to explore what’s on your mind, both online and from my practice in Islington. Together, we can gently notice patterns, reflect on experiences, and find new perspectives at a pace that feels right for you.

I am a person-centred therapist based in North London on Upper Street, Islington.  I am a softly-spoken Scottish white non-disabled trans woman and my positive and inclusive practice, Gentle Therapy, specifically orients to the Gender, Sex/Sexuality, Relationship Diversity (GSRD) communities.  My therapy is about relating with you acceptingly and warmly, seeing and hearing you, and understanding your difficulties and experiences, which we can explore gently and safely and non-judgementally, in the direction and at the tempo that you choose.

My approach is collaborative. I work relationally with clients towards creating long lasting changes and provide a space for the client to explore personal and relational concerns in a secure and non-judgemental environment.  Together, we will investigate current challenges or deep-seated issues which may present as a difficulty in identifying and expressing emotions, feelings of being estranged from needs, or a sense of being stuck. We will work towards new experiences in behaviour, thoughts and emotions.

I aim to respond quickly to new enquiries within 24 hours and can usually offer an appointment within a week.
