I’m a trauma-trained integrative therapist who works with individuals and couples. I build connections with my clients rooted in honesty, empathy, compassion and openness. My personal approach is integrative, which means that I draw from a number of counselling models and techniques, including psychodynamic, existential and humanistic. My therapeutic stance is adaptable to your individual needs and I offer both short and longer term work. I am an experienced and qualified BACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist. I have a Psychology (BA) degree and have undertaken comprehensive training and gained my diploma (PgDip) and Masters (MA) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Regent’s University London.

I am passionate about providing a culturally sensitive therapy space for diverse folk who fall outside of normative cisgender, heterosexual norms, as I do. I want therapy to be a space where you can explore your gender and sexual identities as much or as little as you need to, alongside any other issues and feelings that are drawing you to seek support.

Sometimes we might feel that things are just getting too much, or we want to look at something specific which is bothering us. Since the corona crisis we needed to adapt to a new “normal”. Feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, anxious, worn out, depressed and stressed are just some of the many ways we might react to what is happening around us and within us. Looking for help is not a sign of defeat, not now and not ever.

My approach is collaborative. I work relationally with clients towards creating long lasting changes and provide a space for the client to explore personal and relational concerns in a secure and non-judgemental environment.  Together, we will investigate current challenges or deep-seated issues which may present as a difficulty in identifying and expressing emotions, feelings of being estranged from needs, or a sense of being stuck. We will work towards new experiences in behaviour, thoughts and emotions.

As a queer, trans, non-binary, non-monogamous and neurodivergent person, I understand what it can feel like to be othered, marginalised, or met with prejudice. I work in Private Practice from Farringdon and New Cross Gate. ​I identify as queer and genderfluid.  After starting my working life as an actor, I began my counselling journey over 30 years ago as a Samaritan volunteer and spent 10 years working as a Counselling Supervisor at ChildLine. I managed METRO charity’s LGBTQIA+ Counselling service for 11-25 year olds, as well being responsible for covering the adult service.
