My name is Emma Hinkson, and I am a psychotherapist working with individuals and couples. I currently practice out of the Light Centre near Clapham Common, where I offer sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. My approach is grounded, compassionate, and collaborative, supporting clients through a wide range of personal, relational, and emotional experiences.

I am experienced and easy to talk to, and work with empathy and acceptance of difference, and the struggles we face in being human. This is my foundation as a psychotherapist. My focus is on appreciating each person’s emotional landscape, and attending to aspects that may be causing difficulty. I have identified as lesbian/gay/queer since I was 20 and lived as part of London’s diverse queer scene since then. I am familiar with the pleasures and pains of being LGBTQ+, and the changing cultural terrain.
