Hello and welcome to my page. I am David and I specialise in sex and relationship therapy. I work predominantly with gay cis and transgender men on a wide range of psychosexual themes. As a gay man I bring a deep, empathetic and sensitive perspective to sex and relationship issues.  

What would you like to talk about today? It’s a common enough starting point in counselling sessions, but it is rarely a question with an easy answer. I offer sessions at Brixton, London Bridge and via Google Meet, offering short-term and long-term counselling, and offer a free half-hour initial appointment.

My approach is friendly and confidential and I have over 15 years experience with LGBTQ+ adults around; anxiety, stress, poor self-image, low mood, navigating sex, low self-esteem, loss of motivation, self-doubt and finding purpose. Making the decision to have therapy isn’t always easy. I offer a warm, accepting space to come and explore different parts of yourself. To make sense of what’s going on in your life, with others and within yourself. I work with you as an individual and the differences that make you unique. I am a qualified humanistic therapist offering face to face sessions in Brixton and London Bridge. I also offer online sessions.

As an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor I have worked in a variety of settings, including the charity sector, providing a confidential, non-judgmental space for clients to discuss the difficulties that arise in their lives. 

Hi. I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and supervisor registered with UKCP. I offer supportive, collaborative supervision to qualified therapists and trainees. I have a background as a creative and many years’ experience of working in mental health. Before training as a therapist I worked within mental health advocacy, including in psychiatric settings. I draw on my mental health experience as a supervisor, as well as my creativity. I define as lesbian, gay and/or queer. I’m cis-gendered, white; middle class with varied experience of privilege. I have lived in London all my life and love the diversity of this city.
