I am an Anglo-Arab UKCP registered Psychotherapist, Group Analyst and Clinical Supervisor with a Masters Degree in Psychoanalysis, History & Culture. I have been practicing for over 15 years with the majority of my clients feeling marginalised from society and/or alienated from themselves.   My work  has predominately focussed on questions about how to feel at home within oneself in a society that imposes ideas of normality and acceptability.  I understand how coming from a strict conservative upbringing can make the idea of therapy feel frightening and exposing.  My starting point is to create an environment where you feel safe

I have worked within mental health services for over 10 years and have seen the benefit counselling and psychotherapy can have on an individual’s mental health. I believe having a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings greatly improves a person’s mental health. I am trained to work psychodynamically.
