As a gay man with AuDHD, I am very aware of the difficulties and trying times that we face which  bring around anxiety, fear, isolation and low self-worth. 

I am a BACP registered integrative counsellor. I work with tenderness and curiosity around subjects of gender and sexuality, life transitions and change, emotional dysregulation and burnout. If you feel lost in all that the world expects of you, who you are, what is meaningful to you and what you need, I am here to offer you the space to rest, reflect and find the way forward.

I’m Naomi. I identify as part of the LGBTQIA + community and use she/they pronouns. I trained as a therapist in Melbourne, Australia. Themes I have trained in and work with include grief, anxiety, depression, alcohol & drugs, cross-culture counselling, neurodiversity, trauma, family and relationships. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the food industry as a start-up founder and then as a marketing and branding manager and consultant for other start-ups. I have also written a cookbook.   

Coming to therapy can be a daunting enough experience, without having parts of our identity stigmatized, infantilized, and misunderstood. I aim to create an understanding and warm environment where you can show all the parts of yourself free from judgement or having to explain basic terminology. I bring compassion and humour to the therapy space, and hope to build a collaborative and nourishing relationship with you, centering your unique experiences and perspective on the world.
