I am a queer, polyamorous, neurodivergent, disabled, kinky, trans man living in rural West Wales. 

Hey, I’m Addam, a queer counsellor and psychotherapist working in Bath and Bristol. I also offer online and outdoor therapy sessions if you would prefer either of these. Whatever your reasons for seeking out counselling, I’m here to listen, aim to understand and to work collaboratively with you to create a space where you can process and explore what you need to at your own pace. I am a Clinical Transactional Analysis Psychotherapist on a final level of training (5th year), working toward my MSc in Psychotherapy.  I have been in practice for four years now.

I am a EMDR UK Accredited EMDR therapist with extensive experience of helping lesbian and gay clients process trauma. I am also a BACP Registered counsellor. I work in Central London (Kings Cross) and St Albans, in-person. I also work online. Many of my LGBTQ+ clients have specific traumas relating to their sexuality and how others have treated them. I offer both long-term and short-term therapy.

I have a background in media and arts, working as a professional broadcaster and performance artist in the UK, Canada and US. My therapeutic training was at City and Guildhall Universities and at the Metanoia Institute. I worked in the NHS for 25 years as an advisor and highly specialist psychotherapist in sexual health and HIV medicine. Having recently left the NHS, I now concentrate on my private practice and lecturing in psychotherapy in central London.

I Identify as a cis-gender, lesbian, woman. I am a BACP accredited Counsellor, working both in person and online. I offer a supportive, non-judgemental and confidential space to explore your emotions, raise self-awareness and help strengthen your relationship with yourself and others.
