I am a lesbian mum of lesbian kids and I  identify as queer.   I am a Clinical Associate at Pink Therapy and a Senior Accredited Sexual Diversity Therapist .  In my own life I have always straddled a number of different communities and so the concept of intersectionality and respect for intersecting identities is something I feel passionately about.  I am interested in the impact and the meaning of race, gender, sexuality and culture, as well as individual family history, on our sense of identity. Hi, I’m Joe, As an IFS-informed therapist, I help queer people like you understand and work with all those different parts inside – the ones that feel vulnerable, the ones that try to stay strong, and everything in between.

As I trained in art therapy, systemic practice, outdoors therapy and somatic trauma therapy, I am able to offer different tools and modalities as needed. I use the term queer to define my sexuality, my gender and my relationships and I’ve been always passionate about affirming diversity and countering what is dominant, normative and damaging in our lives.
