I have graduated from a BACP Accredited Institution, where I was also given an Outstanding Personal Development Award. I currently provide counselling services to MIND – a large Mental Health Charity in the UK, as well as seeing clients privately. I am BACP Registered and adhere strictly to their Ethical Framework.
Most of my experience has been acquired by working with people struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, no sense of purpose, family related issues, relationship issues, stress, and all matters related to trauma. The majority of us are not aware of how often the 'hurt' part of ourselves takes the lead in our day-to-day lives.
I am a registered member of the BACP

In addition to my integrative methods (CBT, Humanistic, Psychodynamic and Existential) , I incorporate aspects of Dr. Gabor Maté's Compassionate Inquiry approach into my practice - having attended a number of his workshops, including the 'Compassionate Inquiry Approach to Mental and Physical Illness', led by himself.
Prior to working as a counsellor/psychotherapist, I obtained a degree in Law and a Masters in Business Administration, having worked in the corporate field for over 25 years.
