About the Therapist
Hello, I'm Chin (Victor), a BACP Registered Integrative counsellor. As a gay Asian person who grew up in Asia and now lives in London, my practice is shaped by professional training and lived experience, including cultural transition and navigating identity across different worlds.
This journey has led me to draw from both Eastern and Western philosophies, offering a unique perspective that understands there's no single way to be gay, and that each person's journey is unique. I offer affirmative therapy that honours your individual experience, with sessions available in English and Cantonese, online and in-person.
Whether you're exploring questions of identity, navigating relationship challenges, or seeking greater self-understanding, I create a space where you can be authentically yourself. I understand the particular challenges that can arise when navigating multiple identities—cultural, racial, and sexual—and the courage it takes to live authentically across different worlds.
My integrative approach allows me to tailor our work to what feels most helpful for you. The combination of professional training and personal experience informs how I understand the complexities of identity, belonging, and change.
I continue my own therapy journey and receive regular supervision, believing that ongoing development enhances the care I can offer. In our sessions, you can expect warmth, authenticity, and genuine curiosity about your experience.

I have experience working within both NHS and private practice settings, supporting clients through a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, sleep issues, and major life transitions.
My approach is collaborative and culturally sensitive, recognising that effective therapy requires understanding your individual context and background.
I believe in creating a warm, non-judgmental therapeutic space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings safely. Whether you prefer a more structured, goal-oriented approach or deeper exploratory work, I adapt my style to match what feels most helpful for you. My aim is to support you in developing greater self-awareness, resilience, and the tools needed for lasting positive change.
