About the Therapist
How can I help you?
Have you feared being the true you in counselling in the past?
As your counsellor I will do all I can to help you feel at ease and more able to to open up, because I truly believe that counselling doesn't work if we have to hide parts of our identity.
As a queer, non-binary person I had the misfortune of my school days spanning the whole of Section 28, a law making it illegal to ‘promote’ homosexuality.
I understand that being LGBTQ+ can sometimes make it more difficult to find a counsellor you can trust and feel safe to open up to.
I have over 12 years experience supporting LGBTQ+ people as a youth worker and in mental health support roles. This includes over 9 years working as a counsellor.

TESTIMONIALS
"Chloe is a terrific listener and helped guide me towards constructive reflection and my ability to resolve my own issues. We worked by analysing the conflicts, then looked at what I needed to prioritise personally."
"It was great – absolutely right style. Subtle pointers so I could leave each sessions with some insight into what to reflect on"
"I highly recommend Chloe's ability – Chloe established a sense of trust and safety which was precisely what I needed and I did not at any time feel negative after each session. I feel as a result very much improved in my mental state (after only approximately 10 sessions or so)."
"I identify as trans/questioning/gender queer. After many years of confusion and denial about who I was I had only recently started being honest with myself about my situation and also had only just started coming out to family and friends at the beginning of this year. At the start of my sessions I was still unsure about where I fitted in as a person. Sessions with Chloe helped give me the space and time to focus more clearly on my situation and issues I needed to address. Through Chloe’s support I was often able to find answers myself that not only have helped me as a person who identifies as trans, but also life in general. I have taken so many positive steps over the past 6 months that I thought I would never take, and I know sessions with Chloe played a key part in taking those steps."
"I just wanted to say thank you again for your help/support as a counsellor over the past 6 months. It really has helped me move on a lot quicker that I thought was possible."

Why choose me for online counselling?
When the pandemic hit the world in 2020, counsellors were thrown online with no online experience or training. They had to learn 'on the job'.
As a result most counsellors don't have any additional training in online counselling.
I however, studied an advanced specialist online training in 2018 a few years after qualifying as a counsellor in 2016. My online training covered not just video calls, but also phone and email counselling.
This range of experience enables me to give you a dedicated online service where we can meet in the way that works for you.
On top of this specialist training offering counselling online I am also an Accredited Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversities Therapist. I have over 12 years experience supporting LGBTQ+ people as a youth worker and in mental health support roles. This includes over 9 years working as a counsellor.
