Colette O'Connor - Queer Online Therapy

The philosophy behind Person Centred Therapy is that people can experience healing and growth in a therapeutic relationship that offers genuineness, empathy and unconditional positive regard. In a session it is completely up to you what we talk about, and I won't be giving you homework or getting you to do any specific exercises. My job is to stay alongside you while you take things at your own pace. I won't tell you what to do, but will offer reflections to help you deepen your exploration, connect to patterns in your thinking, and process your experiences and emotions.

In addition to LGBTQ specific themes, I have experience working with clients on a range of subjects, including depression, anxiety, abuse, trauma, relationship difficulties, family conflicts, parenting, chronic illness & disability, loneliness, self-esteem, bereavement, body image, work stress, career decisions, discrimination and bullying.
