I have 12 years experience as a registered Clinical Psychologist (HCPC) and 20 years experience in the mental health field. In my early career, I worked for the South African Health Department as a Clinical Psychologist, before starting my own private therapy practice. I have worked in private practice for the past 10 years and have amassed a great deal of experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community.
I typically use an integrated approach to therapy, drawing on techniques from various therapeutic models, including psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, EMDR, Person-Centred Therapy and Mindfulness. I rely heavily on a person-centred approach and view each client as a unique individual with distinct needs.
