Corey Joseph - online therapy
About the Therapist
By creating a safe, judgment-free space to explore your history and behaviours, my aim is to support you in feeling more in control of life's challenges. We'll work toward clearer awareness of your needs and ultimately a stronger sense of agency to meet those needs.
About you:Â You might be feeling overwhelmed by current pressures or the weight of past experiences. In turn, there might be a struggle with intrusive thoughts, a relentless inner monologue, or finding healthy coping strategies.
For many, navigating life’s challenges takes even more energy when considered alongside sexuality, race, neurodivergence, or other important aspects of identity. These intersections may be a point of internal tension and something you are actively seeking support with. Or perhaps you simply want the reassurance that these parts of you are held in importance and consideration as you explore other topics.
Whether you've been searching for the right support for a while, are stuck on an NHS waiting list, or are uncertain if therapy is even the right option, reaching out is a courageous step towards taking charge of your situation. If you are ready to continue on that journey, I look forward to supporting you along the way.

PgDip Integrative Counselling with Coaching
As an integrative practitioner, I draw on different styles of therapy to create a process that best suits each individual client. Often this will include concepts from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) as well as gestalt therapy.
If requested, I can also bring my experience as a life coach and executive coach into our therapeutic work. I am especially trained in how these techniques can integrate with psychotherapy to shift exploration from the past and present, and into support for future-facing goals and action. This can be helpful when taking concrete steps towards change, navigating specific life transitions, or consolidating on a sense of progress.
I know that lengthy explanations of therapy jargon can be off-putting and may not clearly illustrate how the therapy process might support your specific circumstance. While I've kept this brief, I'd be happy to discuss my working philosophies and practices in more detail during an introductory call, with focus on how they might specifically serve your needs.
