I have been trained to work integratively using a selection of complimentary modalities and concepts, including Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT) and Solution Focussed Therapy (SFT), together with attachment theory, affirmations and schemas.
I have received additional training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Eye-Movement Desentisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and plan to continue my training and professional development in those fascinating modalities. I am a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS Certification #842209). Generally speaking, the majority of my clients are neurodivergent, queer, or both.
Working 'integratively' like this means that I can modify and adapt the therapeutic processes that we will rely on in our sessions, aiming for a confidential, safe, non-judgemental environment in which to explore your challenges, concerns and difficult emotional experiences, in a way that suits you.
I completed my placement during training with a large, national, affordable counselling service offering online sessions, and a small affordable counselling charity in my hometown offering face to face counselling. I have continued to work part-time for this small charity after completing my studies and becoming accredited. Â Alongside this I have established my own private practice offering online, telephone and email therapy as well as 'Walk and Talk' sessions in Tonbridge, Kent. The walk and talk format is generally considered to be much more relaxed than sitting in a therapy room facing your therapist.

My session fee is currently £70. The standard psychotherapy/counselling session lasts 50 minutes and repeats weekly at the same time every week. However, I can offer extended sessions of 100 minutes (online only), or multiple sessions per week, if you feel that you would like to do more intensive work at any point in the therapeutic process. I also offer a free 20 minute introductory consultation to see if you’d like to work with me.
