Cristiano Bruschi
About the Therapist
I am an integrative psychotherapist which means I draw from different therapeutic approaches. An integral part of my practice includes working with Attachment which means that I pay particular attention to the client’s early relationships with their caregivers. Our difficulties very often stem from these connections with our parents, our family and our experiences at school. These very relationships often shape how we view the world, how we feel, how we think and behave in our here-and-now relationships and in general in our adult life.

As an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, I draw from different schools of psychotherapy including psychodynamic, compassion-focused, cognitive-behavioural, humanistic, body psychotherapy and attachment therapy, depending on the individual’s needs.
I also offer mindfulness-based cognitive therapy in my work with clients who are affected by intrusive thoughts and rumination, especially when these dominate their days and lives. By using different therapeutic skills I am able to tailor my approach to each situation that is brought up by the client during our sessions.
LGBTQ+ Therapy
Learning to accept, appreciate and love ourselves is fundamental to living a satisfying life. I offer a tailored counselling and psychotherapy service for LGBTQ+ clients, which will allow them to explore and understand underlying issues which might include sex and relationship difficulties, depression, low self-esteem, bullying and addiction and the difficulty of coming out and of dealing with gender non-conformity. I provide a safe space where you can explore complex and painful thoughts and feelings and I will support you through to working on your short and long-term goals. I will also help you discover the tools and develop inner resources that will support you in your difficult life situations and help you enjoy your life to the fullest.
