I know what it’s like to feel unseen, misunderstood, or like you don’t quite fit into the boxes society expects of you. Maybe you’re struggling with anxiety that feels like it’s always buzzing in the background, or depression that makes even the simplest tasks feel impossible. Perhaps you’re navigating the challenges of being neurodivergent in a world that isn’t always accommodating, or exploring your identity in a way that feels both liberating and daunting. Whatever brings you here, I want you to know this: you don’t have to face it alone.

As a queer, working-class, neurodivergent woman, I bring a personal understanding of these intersections to my practice. My lived experience, combined with professional training in Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and ACT allows me to tailor a therapy that is unique to you.

Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and real. I’ll bring warmth, humour, and zero judgment to our sessions, and I’ll always meet you exactly where you are. Whether you’re looking to heal from past wounds, build healthier relationships, or simply feel more at peace in your own skin, I’m here to help you take those steps with you.

Experience and approach:

Outside of the therapy room, I am the Chair of the BABCP LGBTQ+ Special Interest Group and the founder and Chair of the National NHS Talking Therapies LGBTQ+ Champions Network. I am deeply committed to improving mental health support for LGBTQ+ individuals, and my work is featured as a case study in the LGBTQ+ Positive Practice Guide for NHS Talking Therapies (2024). Through both my private practice and NHS roles, I strive to create inclusive, affirming spaces and to enhance the quality of care for our community. It’s a privilege to advocate for and support LGBTQ+ clients, and I am passionate about driving positive change in this area.
