As a therapist and counsellor, I am trained as an integrative therapist, which is a holistic approach that integrates different theories and techniques to create a personalised therapeutic experience for each client. My goal as a psychotherapist and counsellor is to provide a supportive environment where we will work towards creating a more meaningful and fulfilling life for you.
Here's a bit more about how I work: Person-Centred At the core of my approach is the person-centred model, which recognises the inherent worth and dignity of each individual. I prioritise building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients based on trust, empathy, and genuine acceptance. I focus on creating a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. I believe that everyone has the ability to find their own solutions to their problems and my role is to facilitate that process.
Attachment Theory Another important component of my work is attachment theory, which explores how our early relationships with caregivers shape our adult relationships and patterns of behaviour. By understanding your attachment style, we can work together to identify any patterns that may be holding you back or causing distress in your life.
Gestalt Style Therapy Gestalt therapy is another tool I use in my practice by focusing on the here-and-now experience of my clients. This means paying attention to your bodily sensations, emotions, and thoughts in the present moment. By becoming more aware of your inner experience, you can gain insight into how you interact with the world around you and make positive changes.
I work with clients on a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, work stress, PTSD, relationship difficulties, bereavement, and self-esteem. I use a range of evidence-based techniques and interventions to support my clients in achieving their goals or just hearing them and walking with their journey. Overall, my approach is grounded in a deep respect for each client's unique experience and needs, and a commitment to supporting them in their journey towards greater self-awareness, growth, and wellbeing. If you have any questions about my approach or would like to schedule an appointment, please don't hesitate to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you. You can see me in Harley Street, Finchley North London or online. I offer a free 30-minute telephone consultation, get in touch and we can find a suitable time to book this in.
