About the Therapist
I am a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor working in private practice from Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire and via various online platforms. Integrative means a blended approach to the work that brings together different elements from specific therapies. By combining elements drawn from predominantly the Humanistic and Psychodynamic therapeutic approaches, integrative therapy becomes a more flexible and inclusive approach than more traditional, singular forms of counselling. Notably, many counsellors now draw on more than one modality or type of therapy in informing how they work.

I have been in the therapeutic industry for almost twenty years and, in that time, have worked with many clients from all walks of life, covering a wide variety of presenting difficulties. Notably, as a gay man, husband and parent, I am also fully aware of the particular struggles that we in the community may face.Â
We all know life can be tough at times, so if you are currently finding life difficult, then you are not alone. Sometimes, we need a little extra support to work through and understand what is happening to us. It can be hard to appreciate how simply talking to a therapist can be helpful, particularly if you have never experienced counselling before. But talking to someone who has been trained to listen and respond in a certain way can be profoundly helpful. If you are feeling stressed, depressed or struggling to like yourself, then talking about how this is making you feel can begin to bring resolution and clarity.
