About the therapist:

I'm Debbie and I'm a BACP (Senior Accredited) and Pink Therapy advanced accredited counsellor, psychotherapist and supervisor supporting LGBTQIA+ adults and young people alongside anyone who is looking for support around their gender, sexuality or relationship diversity.

I hold a Masters Degree in Gender, Sexuality and Culture and have undergone specialist training in the area. My work is also informed by previous roles supporting LGBTQI+ communities as a Youth and Community Development Worker (JNC) and through personal experience. I've worked in the mental health field for over 25 years and have supported around a wide range of issues. I'm committed towards anti-oppressive practice including anti-racism and engage in continuous personal and professional development.

I am currently working online and over the phone across the UK and beyond (please note some legal restrictions apply outside UK). Video sessions-there is an option to keep video switched off if this is a preference.

Experience and approach:

Over 7 years experience supporting counsellors working with GSRD clients, or who are GSRD themselves and want a supervisory experience where they don't have to leave themselves at the door.
