Hello, my name is Debra. I am a mature practitioner with over four decades of experience working with people in crisis. I offer a warm, therapeutic service for those who wish to explore their emotions and experiences in a safe, compassionate environment. I have developed my practice across various services throughout Merseyside, working with young people, families, and adults.Â
I have valuable practical experience working with ADHD, anxiety, depression, abuse, adverse childhood experiences, and inclusive relationship issues within a therapeutic setting. I understand the importance of fostering a nonjudgmental and empathetic relationship with my clients.
I work in a person-centred way, allowing you to feel in control during the sessions. Often, when exploring traumatic events, a person can feel unsafe. I strive to offer a service that allows for the sensitive and confidential exploration of these feelings and events, allowing you to progress at your speed. We maintain a consistent pace while achieving your personal transformation goals.
As a qualified pluralistic therapist, I can use various interventions during sessions to guide you through challenging issues as they emerge. I can help you set therapy goals and choose methods.
