About the Therapist
Seeing a psychotherapist offers the experience of developing a particularly deep relationship. One where all aspects of your self can come to be seen, explored and accepted. For some clients it is vital that their therapist is familiar and comfortable with central aspects of their identity and lifestyle, which might be their queerness, their love of kink and BDSM or their relationship style such as open relating or polyamory.
I’m a therapist who explores the worlds of positive sexuality and diversity in my own relationships and the communities I’m part of
For some clients these aspects feature prominently in what they bring to sessions. For others they are part of the background context as they explore other issues that are important to them.
My training at Re-Vision had a Jungian and ‘soulful’ perspective, which includes an awareness of wider dimensions in existence, reality and consciousness. I’m exploring nonduality with the help of a teacher.
I see clients online or in person at my home in peaceful and nurturing Buckinghamshire countryside.

I have Diplomas in Integrative Transpersonal Counselling and Psychotherapy from Re-Vision. I’m a Registered Member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy). I abide by the codes of ethics of both organisations.

Other modalities I use include:
- Internal Family Systems, a way of working with parts or subpersonalities in order to uncover the core Self
- Nondual therapy (including training with Georgi Johnson), approaches that include an awareness of deep interconnectedness and essential nondual qualities
I encourage clients to bring all forms of expression into therapy sessions, including dreams, art, music, writing, poetry, movement and dance.

Therapists tend to attract clients who share some common themes in what they want to focus on. The themes that recur in my work are shown below, but I will of course work with whatever a client brings:
- Relationship breakdown: breakups, divorce and separation among married clients, the continuing impact of divorce or separation between parents during childhood
- Finding and deepening relationships: navigating dating, messaging, maintaining relationships; finding truthful relationship styles, noticing co-dependency, unconscious processes being acted out
- Unhappiness: living with lack of motivation, joy, meaning and self-worth; stuckness; self-criticism and attack, suicidal thoughts, impact of suicide of a parent
- Connecting with feelings and the body: coming to see how necessary survival strategies such as ‘getting on with life’ may have resulted in disconnection from painful feelings, which could now be felt and integrated
- Neurodiversity: exploring the process of discovering neurodiversity and its expression in life now
- Dependency on substances: living with long-term substance use and seeking release
- Personal development: seeing the deficits in care and love in childhood, separating from the family and social expectations, individuating, owning shadow, discovering and living true gender and sexual identities, finding an outlook on life that is more aligned, cultivating practices that provide self-support
For me, therapy is about people discovering what they already know about who they are and what’s important. I offer an attentive, non-judgmental presence. I don't have special wisdom to impart but will share my responses and reflections.
