About the Therapist
I have experience providing both short- and long-term therapy to adults and young people. My work spans NHS talking therapy services, secondary schools, and further education settings, supporting clients from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of issues and circumstances.
In addition to my specialisation in Couple’s and Relationship therapy, I have done further professional development in the areas of:
Working with suicide
Sex & Shame
Bereavement
Gender, Sexual, and Relationship Diversity (GSRD)
Erotic Transference
Working with neurodiversity
Working with adult adopted clients and adoption related issues
I understand that reaching out for therapy can be a difficult and courageous step. I believe in the power of vulnerability and the growth that can come from a strong therapeutic relationship. To help you take this first step, I offer a free 25-minute Zoom call. This gives us a chance to connect, explore your needs, and see if this feels like the right fit for you.

I offer a flexible approach tailored to your needs. We can work in a Person-Centred way, focusing on the here and now, or take a Psychodynamic perspective to explore how past experiences shape current behaviours, thoughts, and emotions. These approaches can also be combined in an integrative way. Together, we’ll focus on your goals while you experience empathy, acceptance, and understanding.
For couples, a deeper exploration into unconscious relationship patterns can be valuable. A psychodynamic approach helps uncover how early childhood experiences shape our ways of relating, shedding light on why we are drawn to certain partners and how past dynamics influence our present relationships. For those struggling with unhelpful thought patterns affecting emotions and behaviours, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) can be useful in identifying and shifting negative perceptions, leading to healthier interactions.
We can also explore unconscious patterns of attraction rooted in early parental models—why we are drawn to certain people and how these dynamics play out in relationships. This concept is central to the IMAGO model, which helps couples recognize and transform these deep-seated patterns to foster deeper understanding and connection.
