Dr Nikolaos Souvlakis
About the Therapist
I am a Greek individual who have been trained as sport scientist and later as psychoanalist and psychotherapist and clinical supervisor. I have been working for many years in Europe and UK. For the last 20 years I have been working as therapist, clinical supervisor and group facilitator in different LGBTQ+ communities across Europe. I have a particular interest on how spirituality facilitate our journey and our relaitonship with our body and gender. I am also interested in early attachment and the effect that it has in our later adult life and expressions. Finally, I am an activist in banning the conversion therapy as a form of healing and psychotherapeutic journey.

In our work together we will explore stories you bring about yourself and others; what they might be saying or not; what you return to in them that inspires you or troubles you. Often people find healing through the process of talking to someone in confidence for the first time results in a considerable better well BEING and mental health. I do not believe that one type of person or life style is less important or valid that another and I do not sit in judgment in any kind.
I would encourage you to see a period of therapy as a time in your life where you devote a significant period to in-depth work on your thoughts and feelings about yourself, your place int he world and your spiritual life.
