About the Therapist
Current availability
My practice is currently full for individual therapy and clinical supervision, however there are currently spaces available in the online DBT Skills Group, which is a great option if you’re looking to develop skills in emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and navigating relationships. This group provides a supportive space to build confidence and develop tools for a more balanced and fulfilling life. Please feel free to get in touch to learn more about joining the online DBT Skills Group. The next module will be the Distress Tolerance module, starting at the beginning of February 2025, with assessments taking place during January.
About Me and Individual Therapy
Welcome to my profile. I am a Therapist based in West London, providing individual therapy online to clients across the UK. My practice is a welcoming and affirming space for LGBTQ+ and GSRD individuals, tailored to nurture mental health with compassion and professionalism. I use an integrative approach, combining psychodynamic principles and person-centred therapy, and I draw on structured modalities like Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) where appropriate.
Whether you’re seeking short-term support or embarking on a longer therapeutic journey, we’ll work collaboratively to reflect on your experiences and explore pathways forward. My approach is sensitive to complex trauma, dissociation, and the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals. Our sessions will be a space for you to be seen, heard, and supported.
Online LGBTQ+/GSRD DBT Skills Groups
In partnership with Emma Brooks at Liminal Therapies Ltd, I co-facilitate a DBT-informed Coping Skills Group. This group meets weekly via Zoom, providing an inclusive and primarily LGBTQ+/GSRD-affirmative space. Together, we explore skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
Our program runs in three modules, each beginning with a three-week induction. Groups are small (8–12 participants) and supported by two facilitators to ensure a safe, engaging environment. At the end of each module, participants are offered a one-to-one review session to reflect on their progress and refine their goals. For more details or to join, please visit Liminal Therapies.
SCID-D Assessments for Dissociative Disorders
For those seeking clarity around dissociative symptoms, I offer SCID-D assessments, a gold-standard diagnostic tool for dissociative disorders, including Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). These assessments involve a detailed exploration of symptoms such as memory gaps, identity confusion, and feelings of detachment.
Conducted over multiple sessions, the process is tailored to your needs, offering insights that inform therapeutic approaches like EMDR or trauma-focused therapy. Whether you’re seeking a diagnosis or understanding dissociation to guide ongoing therapy, this service provides a compassionate and thorough assessment.
Clinical Supervision, Consultation, and Training
As a Clinical Supervisor, I support Counsellors and Psychotherapists working with adults (18+). Drawing on the Seven-Eyed Model of supervision, my approach integrates relational and systemic perspectives to help therapists reflect on their practice.
I bring a wealth of experience from my NHS role in a DBT team and private practice, particularly in trauma-focused work with LGBTQ+ clients and those in high-stress professions like emergency services. I also provide consultation and training in DBT, complex trauma, and dissociation. Whether you’re newly qualified or an experienced practitioner, I offer a collaborative space to deepen your practice.
