Elizabeth Jenkins
About the Therapist
I am an open minded and supportive counsellor based in Sedgley. I work with adults and children in an integrative way, which means I use techniques from lots of different counselling schools to suit the needs of the client rather than following one approach regardless. Counselling can be intimidating and I pride myself in being approachable and supportive whilst not being afraid to question and challenge when necessary. My consultation process is free not because it is not valuable but because I believe that for counselling to be effective there needs to be trust between therapist and client. It is important for us both to establish that we are a good match for moving forward with our therapeutic relationship. Free consultations allow for us both to make this decision without any pressure to move forwards if it doesn't feel right.Â
I try and keep my fees affordable but if you feel they are unachievable but you feel like you would benefit please get in touch I do hold a few sessions for reduced fee clients as I believe it shouldn't be a barrier to good quality help although these places are limited so there can be a wait.

I believe an open and trusting relationship is the basis to a successful therapeutic relationship. I am not the expert in your life, you are and I am guided by individual client desires and need to create individualised approaches rather than using a one size fits all approach.Â
