Gareth Eglinton-Pacitti
About the Therapist
I have worked in private practice as well as several community-based settings that provide specialised support for various communities. Before focusing entirely on my therapy practice I spent several years in the charity sector where I ran a mental health organisation for young people. Throughout my career I have had the privilege of working with individuals from across the world who have faced a broad range of issues.
My own lived experience as a queer, neurodivergent and disabled person deeply informs my values of empathy and inclusivity. It gives me a genuine understanding of navigating a world that often feels built for someone else. Outside of the therapy room I am a big believer in the power of kindness. I also love pop culture, music, reading and American reality TV! My pronouns are He/They.

I offer a compassion-based approach that creates a relaxed and safe environment for meaningful progress. As an integrative therapist my work is fundamentally person-centred but I draw on a variety of therapeutic models to tailor our sessions to your unique needs. My qualifications and training cover a wide variety of humanistic therapeutic approaches in addition to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Brief Solution Focused Therapy skills.
I provide an affirming space for Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity (GSRD), including support for trans identities, ethical non-monogamy and alternative relationship styles. We can work together to uncover the roots of depression , develop strategies to reduce the impact of anxiety, process traumatic experiences and improve communication to build stronger and healthier connections.
