About the Therapist
My journey includes being an actor and voice artist alongside 25 years in design and communications in the corporate field. This variety of experience helps me understand the complex pressures we face balancing authentic self-expression in different environments which may not embrace who we are.
As a gay man, I know what it's like to:
- Question whether you're 'too much' or 'not enough'
- Navigate spaces where your authentic self feels risky
- Feel out of step, even within queer spaces
- Carry shame that isn't even yours
- Feel like you're performing even in your personal life
I specialise in supporting people through performance anxiety, social anxiety, fear of judgement, and deep-seated shame. Recognising that we all sit somewhere on the glorious spectrum of gender, sexuality and relationship identities, I use cognitive behavioural approaches combined with hypnosis to create lasting, meaningful change.
I understand that healing happens when you are ready, at your pace, without pressure to be anything other than who you are. If you're ready to stop performing and start living, I offer a free 20-minute consultation where we can talk about what's really going on for you and see if we feel like a good fit. No pressure, no performance required—just honest conversation about where you are and where you'd like to be.

My approach is collaborative and experimental. I don't offer easy solutions or demand that you 'think positive.' Instead, we'll work together to understand that your thoughts and feelings aren't fixed truths—they're passing weather. We'll identify the stories you've been telling yourself for so long you believe they're true.
Through a blend of cognitive behavioural therapy and gentle hypnosis, we'll explore a new way of looking at your life and help your nervous system remember what safety feels like.
This isn't about 'fixing' yourself—it's about finding who you are beneath the stories that were never yours to carry. Whether you're dealing with internalised homophobia, transphobia, family rejection, or simply the exhaustion of code-switching, we'll create space for who you're becoming.
I love helping people:
- Connect with their authentic confidence (it's already in there!)
- Navigate coming out processes and family dynamics
- Overcome performance anxiety in dating, work, or creative pursuits
- Make peace with internalised shame and criticism
- Build resilience in the face of discrimination or rejection
- Find their voice after years of hiding or people-pleasing
As someone who's done his own work around shame, visibility, and authentic self-expression, I understand that healing happens when you are ready, at your pace, without pressure to be anything other than who you are.

Working toward change should feel supportive, not overwhelming—especially when you've already been so brave just by being yourself.
I currently work exclusively online via secure video platform due to family commitments. It offers the convenience of being available wherever you are and the benefits of hypnotherapy are exactly the same whether in person or online - what matters is the connection and the work we can focus on together.
