About the Therapist
My name is Germain, I'm a certified therapist specialising in stress and anxiety, with over four years of experience helping individuals find calm and build resilience. My qualifications include Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, Stress Management & Resilience Building, Coaching, Existential Well-being Counselling, and a Master's in Business Psychology (due in May 2026).
As a member of the LGBTQI+ community myself, I understand the unique pressures of minority stress, identity challenges, and navigating spaces that weren't designed for us. You won't need to explain your experience — I get it.
My approach combines evidence-based techniques with genuine warmth. I use HypnoCBT — integrating CBT with clinical hypnotherapy — to create faster, deeper change than talk therapy alone. Sessions are practical, goal-focused, and tailored to you.
I offer in-person sessions in N19, London and online sessions across the UK and internationally. Free 15-minute consultations available.

How We Work
Initial ConsultationWe offer a free 15-minute consultation to discuss what you're experiencing, answer your questions, and determine whether we're a good fit. There's no pressure and no obligation.
First SessionYour first full session (60-90 minutes) involves a thorough discussion of your goals, background, and what you want to change. You'll experience a gentle introduction to hypnotherapy, and we'll create a tailored plan for your sessions.
Ongoing SessionsFollow-up sessions (50-60 minutes) include a brief check-in on progress, targeted HypnoCBT work on specific issues, and practical tools to use between sessions. We'll adjust our approach based on what's working for you.
Session FormatWe offer in-person sessions in London and online sessions via secure video for clients across the UK and internationally. Online therapy is just as effective as in-person work for most issues, and many clients prefer the convenience and privacy it offers.

Our Approach: HypnoCBT
Our signature modality is HypnoCBT — an evidence-based approach that combines the structured techniques of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with the transformative depth of clinical hypnotherapy.
Traditional CBT works at the conscious level, helping you identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns. It's effective, but change can feel slow, and insights don't always translate into real-world shifts. Hypnotherapy works at the subconscious level — where habits, beliefs, and automatic responses are stored.
HypnoCBT brings both together. We help you understand your patterns consciously, then use guided hypnosis to rewire them at a deeper level. The result is change that feels natural, not forced. Progress that sticks.
Most of our clients see significant improvement within 6-12 sessions — far fewer than traditional talk therapy typically requires.
What We Help With
Anxiety & PanicWe work with generalised anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, health anxiety, and phobias. For LGBTQI+ clients, anxiety often has additional layers — heightened vigilance in social situations, fear of judgment or rejection, and the cumulative effects of navigating spaces where you don't feel entirely safe. We address both the symptoms and the underlying patterns driving them.
Chronic Stress & BurnoutMinority stress is real and measurable. The constant code-switching, microaggressions, and emotional labour of existing as a queer person in a heteronormative world takes a genuine toll on your nervous system. We help clients understand where their stress originates and — more importantly — how to release it and protect their energy going forward.
Confidence & Self-WorthLow self-esteem in LGBTQI+ individuals often stems from years of external messages — from family, society, media, religion — suggesting something about you is wrong. Over time, those external voices become internal ones. Using HypnoCBT, we identify the thought patterns keeping you small and update the core beliefs about yourself that were formed long ago. The goal is a quiet, stable sense of your own worth that doesn't depend on external validation.
