Hannah Goel
About the Therapist
I work in an integrative way, which means I am able to pull from multiple modalities to suit your needs and tailor therapy to where you're at.
I am mixed-race and pansexual woman and I spent my childhood living in different countries in Asia, Africa and the Middle East as well as the UK.
I understand straddling different cultures and the generational traumas that can come with being part of the global majority, as well as what it means to question your identity and belonging.
Before training as a therapist, I started my career working with children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, worked as a carer for people with Cerebral Palsy then as a Learning Support Assistant and keyworker for vulnerable teenagers. I've always loved working alongside people, supporting them to feel empowered and safe.
Being inclusive, non-judgmental and a safe space is of utmost importance to me both personally and in my practice.

I have 6 years of experience as a Senior Psychotherapist in the NHS, as a School Counsellor, a Samaritan and a proud Volunteer for free counselling services.
I have extensive experience working with neurodiversity and am able to tailor therapy to your needs - we'll just have a chat about what works for you and how we can adapt the sessions around that.
I support you to explore your emotions and your story to find emotional shifts which will allow you move forward in your wellbeing and sense of self.
I offer you tools for self-compassion, self-trust and communication.
Together, we may explore your patterns of relating to yourself and others, understand these patterns, and learn how to change them if they're no longer serving you.
I work with: Depression and anxiety, Neurodiversity and the transition of receiving diagnoses, Identity struggles, Gender transitions, Processing trauma, Relationship issues (not couples' counselling), Self-compassion, Loss of any kind (whether that's bereavement, end of a relationship/friendship or loss of a role), And much more.
