My name is Hilary and I am a Psychosexual and Relationship therapist practicing since 2019. I have worked in mental health and as a psychologist in the NHS and charities for 20+ years. I run a business called Pleasure Solutions. We help people whose sex lives have been affected by their health or medical treatment to reconnect with their sexual identity.

I have training in multiple models and integrate them to promote a better mind-body connection. In terms of my therapeutic approach, I concentrate on building a strong relationship with all my clients as I believe the relationship is the basis for all good outcomes.  I integrate Psychodynamic, CBT, Mindfulness, Attachment, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt models to best suit you and your identified problem.  I centre the role of the nervous system in sexual problems including relaxation techniques and mindfulness to help any anxiety that upsets the arousal cycle. Building a better body and mind connection is important when things go awry. I also work gently with your narrative especially if it involves shame, to let it be witnessed, whilst honoring the place rage may also has in the story. I am a practical therapist and offer lots of psycho-education and reading materials in addition or as part of the homework. I also learn so much from everyone I meet and work with.
