Imogen Parry
About the Therapist
My name is Imogen (she/her), and I’m a fully qualified Integrative Therapist working in Queen’s Park, NW6, and online.
I am registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold a Level 7 (Master’s-level equivalent) diploma in Integrative Counselling from The Minster Centre, one of Europe’s longest-established training institutions.
I previously volunteered with Terrence Higgins Trust (THT), a charity offering therapy to LGBTQIA+ people and those living with, at risk of or affected by HIV.
My work is integrative and relational. This means I don’t use a single fixed formula, but bring together approaches in response to you and what you bring to therapy. We collaboratively explore your inner world, your relationships (past and present), and the patterns that have shaped your experience.
With over 10 years' experience working in health and well-being with individuals and groups, I draw on a background of contemplative practice, breath work and embodiment. Where helpful, I weave in soothing techniques (like body awareness and breath work) to support emotional and physiological regulation alongside talking.
I offer a non-judgemental, gentle space for you to make sense of what is going on in your life, including trauma, sexual abuse, chemsex, sexual health, relationships, identity and shame, and work with you to create greater ease and authenticity.

I hold a Level 7 (Master’s-level equivalent) Diploma in Integrative Counselling from The Minster Centre. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working in line with their ethical framework.
I take an embodied, holistic approach, remembering the wider social and cultural contexts that shape us. This work is always offered collaboratively, with careful attention to consent and choice.
I previously volunteered with Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) and have experience working with LGBTQIA+ clients around identity, relationships, shame, and the impact of stigma. I piloted a Yoga and Meditation programme at Mildmay Hospital, a specialist hospital caring for people living with HIV, working somatically with in-patients and out-patients. I continue to volunteer at a low-cost counselling service.
I aim to offer a calm, non-judgemental space where difficult experiences can be explored safely, and where greater steadiness and self-connection can develop over time.
