Jayde Frances
About the Therapist
I'm Jayde/Jay (she/her), a qualified integrative counsellor providing both short-term and long-term 1:1 therapy sessions online with clients country wide and internationally.Â
I have earned a BSc in Integrative Counselling from the University of East London, with accreditation from the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). As a registered member, I maintain the highest professional standards in accordance with BACP's ethical framework.
My extensive background in holistic therapy has deepened my understanding of the essential mind-body-spirit connection in therapeutic work. This integrated approach forms the foundation of my practice, supporting comprehensive personal development and healing.
My professional experience encompasses work with Humankind, a North London charitable organisation where I supported individuals managing addiction and complex needs. Additionally, I've contributed to Choose therapy, providing accessible online counselling services.
I maintain a special focus on supporting the Kink community, informed by my academic research examining the intersection of kink, race, and therapeutic practice. This expertise continues to enrich my professional approach.
In my practice, I emphasise collaborative engagement, crafting individually tailored therapeutic strategies to align with each client's specific requirements and objectives.

My mission is to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I believe that the client-therapist relationship is fundamental to the therapeutic process. Therefore, I am interested in getting to know you, hearing about your experiences, relationships, your self-perception and worldview. I am committed to building a trusting and collaborative partnership with each person I work with.
I adopt an integrative approach to my work, drawing on various theoretical approaches including Existentialism, Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive-Behavioural theories. I am particularly drawn to the existential framework, a philosophical and psychological approach that examines the individual’s existence, subjective experience, freedom, choice, and the search for meaning in life. This approach assists clients in aligning their choices with their core values and discovering their authentic selves.
With a background in holistic therapy, I understand the importance of addressing the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit in the healing process and tailoring my approach to meet your unique needs and goal. Providing a non-judgmental, affirmative, and sex-positive space, I welcome individuals from all walks of life, cultures, backgrounds, sexual identities and relationship types.
