About the Therapist
I am a genderqueer femme lesbian therapist, specialising in work with adult queer and trans clients. My practice centres people whose lives sit outside the default setting: trans and non-binary folk, polycules, kink practitioners, queer migrants and people of colour, and anyone still discovering how they wish to live and love. Alongside clinical work I have lectured on LGBTQ+ mental health at postgraduate level and run group sessions for LGBTQ+ people of colour to share their stories together. Therapy with me is spacious and practical. Some weeks we focus on day-to-day coping — sleep, boundaries, breath, nervous-system regulation. Other weeks we zoom out, tracing how stories about shame, pleasure or belonging took root and deciding which ones you want to keep. I am an integrative practitioner, weaving together relational depth, CBT strategies, and narrative or psychodynamic thinking, always informed by a queer, decolonial lens.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with LGBTQ+ asylum seekers and refugees, LGBTQ+ young adults, and trans, non-binary, and genderqueer people. These rich professional experiences have led me to intentionally centre queer people, particularly queer people of colour, in my practice, creating a therapeutic space that recognises and celebrates intersectional identities. My therapeutic approach is integrative, pluralistic, trauma-informed, relational, and explicitly decolonial. I believe therapy thrives most powerfully in relationships built on trust, collaboration, and transparency. Together, we’ll create a therapeutic environment that not only respects but actively honours your identities, your lived experiences, and your values.
