Jen Tomkinson

I’m a person-centred therapist with a particular interest in working with LGBTQIA+ and GSRD clients, including clients in poly and other non-monogamous relationships. I offer a space to explore what is going on for you, from a position of acceptance and curiosity. You may not have had that experience before. In building a relationship that is deeply empathetic and warm, I try to balance out the discrimination and lack of validation you may face in the world if your identity places you outside the mainstream in any way. You might want to talk about your experiences as a queer person, or you might just want to know that your therapist has an understanding of that experience. This supportive and affirming therapy relationship will enable you to be kinder to yourself. From here we can look at whatever is getting in the way of you thriving and living in a way that is most meaningful for you.
