LGBTQIA+ Affirming Therapist in Sheffield | GSRD Specialist | Online & In Person
You deserve a therapist who genuinely gets it — not just in principle, but in practice.
I'm Jen, a person-centred therapist with a specialist interest in working with LGBTQIA+ and gender, sex, and relationship diverse (GSRD) clients. This includes people in polyamorous and other ethically non-monogamous relationships. I offer sessions in person in Sheffield and online across the UK.
A space that's truly yours
Many of my clients have spent years in spaces where they've had to explain, justify, or minimise who they are. In our work together, that’s not the case. I offer a relationship built on deep empathy, genuine warmth, and unconditional acceptance — so that you can show up exactly as you are, without having to explain yourself.
You might want to explore your experiences as a queer or trans person specifically. Or you might want to work on something else, knowing your therapist understands where you’re coming from.
What we can work on together
Therapy with me might include:
- Identity, self-acceptance, and coming out at any stage of life
- Relationships, intimacy, and non-monogamy
- The impact of discrimination, minority stress, and lack of validation
- Anxiety, depression, and low self-worth
- Finding ways to live more fully and authentically
Getting started
If you're looking for a therapist who understands LGBTQIA+ and GSRD experience — not just as an ally, but as someone with personal experience — I'd love to hear from you.
