Hi, welcome to my page, My name is Jen and I am a fully qualified and experienced integrative counsellor and registered member of the BACP.

I currently run my own private practice as well as working within an agency that offers psychotherapy and DBT; where I support adults and young people who are experiencing complex mental health issues, exploring neurodivergence and entering DBT groups.

I have experience working with depression, stress, anxiety, loss, difficulty in relationships, neurodiversity (both diagnosed and self-diagnosed or questioning), suicidal thoughts, trauma, disability, intrusive thoughts, abuse and neglect.

I welcome clients from the LGBTQI+ community and aim to provide a neuro-affirming and gender-affirming environment, I warmly welcome clients who are exploring their identities.

Experience and approach:

I am a fully qualified Integrative therapeutic counsellor, I utilise aspects of the Person-centred approach, Cognitive behavioural therapy, Transactional analysis and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy.

I have previously worked in the charity sector as a befriending co-ordinator for a disabled persons organisation, and also as a peer mentor for a leading UK mental health charity.
