About the Therapist
I'm an integrative therapist, which means that I can draw on a range of approaches. I work online via Zoom and face-to-face in a quiet and private locations near London Bridge or in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. I have an MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling, retraining after a period of intense personal turmoil around my own gender identity, through which I had to pull myself. I try to bring both my life experience and my training to bear in the support I offer all my clients, whatever their gender identity or sexual orientation .

Many of my clients identify within the LGBTQI+ spectrum. I've worked with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, low self-worth, family and relationship tensions, abuse (emotional, psychological and sexual), bullying, emotional vulnerability and sensitivity, stress, gender and sexual identity and more.Â
I'll spend a lot of time listening with empathy and always working collaboratively with you to find what feels right, helping you to find a way forward. I might draw upon ideas around how patterns of behaviour or feelings are rooted in our past and how exploring their origins can allow us to move on from them, or perhaps work to help you appreciate that you are not the problem (and that the problem is the problem), giving you some mental and emotional distance to look afresh at your challenges. Or perhaps we'll look at the stories you've been telling yourself inside about yourself, how they got there (parents, school, society?) and how to rediscover a rich, resilient and different inner narrative for yourself.
