Experience and approach:
I’ve been working as a therapist since 2005. I work in an integrative way, with a strong transpersonal influence (including Jungian psychology and psychosynthesis). This means I see therapy as working with the whole person – mind, body, emotions, and your deepest sense of self – trusting that each of us carries our own inner wisdom, even if we lose touch with it during difficult times.
I am LGBTQIA+ allied, neurodivergence informed, and sensitive to how different forms of discrimination interact to create inequality. Everything you share with me is treated as strictly confidential.
Alongside my therapy and supervision practice, I’ve been the editor of Private Practice (the BACP journal for counsellors and psychotherapists in private practice) since 2011, and I’ve taught and supervised trainee therapists at a range of institutions.

Therapy and clinical supervision sessions are £90 for 50 minutes, online or in person. I offer a limited number of reduced-fee spaces for therapy clients on a low income – please feel free to ask.
For personal therapy, I usually suggest starting with an initial block of six sessions. Around session five, we’ll review how things are going and decide together whether to continue, pause, or work longer-term. Our first meeting is an assessment session – a chance for you to talk about what’s brought you to therapy, ask questions, and see whether I feel like the right fit for you. Feeling comfortable and understood really matters.
For therapists seeking supervision, I offer sessions weekly, fortnightly, or monthly, depending on your needs and caseload. If you’re considering supervision with me, our first meeting is a chance to talk about your work, your context, and what you’re looking for from supervision. Just as importantly, it’s an opportunity for both of us to see whether the fit feels right.
