About the Therapist
I work with a person-centred perspective, which means we talk about what is most important to you, offering a compassionate, understanding, and empathic space, one that is confidential, and free from judgement or presumptions, where you are free to share and discuss whatever you would like to. I am trained as an Integrative therapist which means that we can draw upon a number of approaches, and collaborate on finding a way that we both think is right for you.
We can work together for a short, fixed term, or for a more long-term and open-ended approach. I seek to tailor therapy to clients' specific needs, schedules and understand counselling should ideally balance with one's own circumstances.

My theoretical training is as a Person-Centred counsellor, integrating Cognitive-Behavioural therapy and Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytic theory as well.Â
With your hopes regarding therapy in mind, we work at your pace and focus on your needs. In doing so we may explore past experiences, reflect on what affects you in the present, and together work on ways of thinking and behaving that you may wish were different.
Any difficult and painful subjects that you wish to talk about will be heard, and I will help you to bear these in a compassion-focused approach, one that values trust and connection, and the uniqueness of every client. As a humanistic therapist I endeavour to be culturally aware, so that all individual diversity and experiences are seen and respected.
